Cat Trail to Maine

Of course, just the idea of saving up for a moving van kind of makes Morgan and I want to vomit a little bit. Then again, we could just have one hell of a yard sale, sell everything (except of course Morgan's guitars) and then just be off to Maine.

Alas, I doubt that is what will happen. My question is, how the heck do you move from one state to the other with a cat? Of course a friend of mine just moved from Denver to Eugene, OR and she drove the moving truck with Clyde riding along side. Oregon just seems so much shorter of a travel than Maine.

I can't leave this state without my cat. What is the most logical & safest way?

Suggestions are greatly welcome.

Peace.

Dreams of Air

So, obviously, Morgan hasn't posted a blog yet. I will keep dreaming of his poetic words dancing on this page, and maybe he will have a thought or two to share.

I sort of keep mentioning the idea to my Mom. Of course, that in all honesty is the clincher of the decision. Mom & Dad. I love them so.

Morgan has of course mentioned the idea to his parents, who live in Maine, so yes, they are quite giddy indeed. He just mentioned the idea to his buddy who also lives in Maine, and yes, he too is quite excited.

Of course my work Mom just brought me Christmas presents. Hot cocoa and hand knitted slippers. And she is almost done with knitting slippers for Morgan too. I work for a wonderful organization. I can always work for the same organization in Maine as well. Just not the same people.

Last night when I was sleeping I thought about humidty. Then I thought about dry heat. Then I dreamed about arguing religion with my friends' mothers, who weren't really their mothers but were in dream land. Maybe it was the hot air. Who knows. Bizarre.

As I write this I think of living in a green area with trees and water and a yurt.

Peace.

Times, they are a changin'

Welcome to the land of Morgan and Nan. Currently living in Colorado. Nan was born and raised in the beautiful square state. Morgan found himself here a couple of years ago. The two hippies met, and well, rest is history.

Times, though, they are a changin'. Honestly, the economy is somewhere it doesn't need to be, and although there will be changes and things will become better (hopefully), Morgan and Nan have come to the decision that this is better time than any to pick up and get the hell out of dodge.

And yes, statistical research would probably have people pondering in their own mind, just why in the hell are two people thinking of moving to Maine now?

Now is better time than any. Of course, we will have to wait until our current lease is up. Honestly, I (Nan), need to build something new. Start anew. Go hide in the woods of the land. What better man to do just that with than my husband? And of course my beautiful cat too.

So this is a land where Morgan and Nan will release their thoughts and ideas, and hopefully will be able to greet you come July in their new home in Maine.

Peace.
